Emergency Preparedness Training for Local Community (EPTLC)

EPTLC aims to raise the public safety awareness of people from all walks of life. By providing lectures or training, they can learn to utilize basic survival skills and take prompt and effective response in the event of natural disasters or accidents.

Public Education Section, together with other government departments, goes deep into the community from time to time to provide community safety seminars to people in various districts. Training topics are diversified, ranging from mountain safety, field activities, accidents and bad weather, providing guidance on how to perform basic first aid and survival skills to protect themselves and provide assistance to those in need.

In response to the development and needs of the society, EPTLC can tailor-made topics and content according to the background of the trainees, so as to provide them with practical emergency response skills in an interesting and interactive way.
