Performance Standard & Target - Services provided in times of other than emergency

A. Crowd control

The CAS has been committed to deploy members to assist Government departments / charitable organizations to perform crowd management duties in many civic functions, such as the Chinese New Year Fireworks Display, Walks for Charity, Mid Autumn Festival Carnival, Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival - International Races, and provide crowd management at the Wong Tai Sin Temple, Che Kung Temple, Tin Hau Temple, KCR Terminal and China-Hong Kong Ferry Terminal etc.

B. Patrolling at the Country Parks

On every Sundays and public holidays, the CAS will deploy adult members and cadets to patrol the popular hiking trails in the country parks to provide guidance and assistance to the hikers in need of help.

C. Youth Training

CAS Cadet Corps was established in 1968 with a mission to developing its members' leadership potential, cultivating their civic awareness through various forms of training and activities. Other than the CAS Cadet Corps, the CAS will assist the government in youth training, such as Youth Pre-employment Training Programme, Smart Teen Challenge Camp.
